What sites can one visit daily in order to stay updated with the latest trends in domaining?
I know of www.namepros.com where people meet to discuss about everything concerning domaining.

I don't think so you need any other website as NamePro is best place to know everything about domain and many people use it as marketplace as it is most popular website for me.

Namepros is still the best site for you to get update on DOMAINing. However, you can also check more info on YouTube to know how to get good expired domains

I use namecheap. I have subscribed to namecheap newsletter, I also follow namecheap on youtube, facebook and twitter and when evern they have something new, I get the news immediately. I have not used any services other than name cheap. I am not sure if I had hear the name namepros.

Black hat forum has a section dedicated for domain name buying and selling. They discuss various techniques concerning buying and selling brandable domain name.

Another site you can read more about domain name business and investing is Warrior Forum, though large percent of the contents over there are all about internet marketing and case study, but they have a section dedicated for domain name investing.
