Best colours for a technology blog?

I have an idea for a technology blog which will discuss phones, tablets, laptops, and other mobile electronics. What kind of colour scheme do you think would work well for this blog? I guess this is super general but I am having a super hard time finding a theme I like and believe others would like. The first colours that popped into my head were blue and white but a lot of blogs are already using this colour scheme.

I think choosing color is really a personal preference. You can choose any color really, but I think technology blogs should have red or black color.

Red and black does sound like they would work well for my blog. What about colours like pink/purple? Bad?
