I have also seen such kind of people. In our neighbourhood, there lives a person who is not that much educated. However, despite this, he is very rich. In fact, he is one of the richest person in the neighbourhood. On the other hand, I have seen many qualified people working odd jobs. I think that it entirely depends on the skills of a person. However, this does not mean that education is not important per say.

Businesses management isn't meant for everyone, there are those who can only work as an employee. They will fail if you give them any business to manage.

How you would be able to access someone's skills in management and leadership is by working together with them. You won't know someone from the outside until you come very close to them. If I'm looking for someone who can run a business for me, I will work with the person for at least 6 months before making my decision.
