We have so many options these days with different uses and meanings. I personally have used both .com and .net and find them both to do just as well as the other. The biggest difference is that .com domains tend to be more expensive than .net ones, by as much as 50%. I am just curious if they are still considered the best or if they are just priced to give the appearance of being the best.

I think this depends on multiple factors. If you have a local website then obviously it could be better to use your own country prefix. If your business or website is international i do think .com gives you an advantage since people tend to trust this domains more and it's probably also better ranked by Google.

I think it depends on many factors. But it seems that most people will trust .com more than any other domain name. This is just my way of thinking, like search, the first tool you think of is google

It all depends on the target audience and domains.
I own two extensions like .com and .net for the same website and I pay more for .net domain extension, when compared to the .com extension. If you are targeting your country audience then, that country's domain can be used instead.

I know a few other domain variations, which are even more popular than .com. It's just that, I remember reading about how .com domain extensions are easier to remember and it's the most trusted TLD out there. If you can afford .com extension for your website, then you should go for it.

The question it is really subjective, it depends on who answers and their frames and beliefs, honestly it is and it is not, we just have to accept the fact that change is the only constant, we need to change with the times that are coming.

Yes it all depends on your targeted customers and having .com gives you defiantly advantage if you targeting US based visitors as it looks most trusted TLD for me but if you looking for local than better to have your country extension like co.uk will be more suitable.

it also depends on preferences. for example, I never purchased .com, but I used a variety of domains and subdomains.

I will always prefer .com if money were not an issue. Many opt for different domains for various reason. You could pick anyone that you feel suits your purpose better.

It really depends on the choice of someone that wants it, for me personally, .com is the best for me, as it more popular and widely used

Unless a domain is necessary for some institute, this do not matter, however .com is best for a profit making company or an individual, so normally people will choose .com.

It really depends on the type of situation and layout you want to create before considering on choosing a .com domain or a .net domain ,most times i go for a .com domain extension

.COM is pretty much essential if you are a brand. But if you are not brand, then any domain would be good enough. In fact most of the low end domains are pretty much tough to monetize as some people prefer the brands. I'd recommend you to get a .com if you are planning on registering the company.

Dot com is called king com as it is the first domain extension to be launched on the world wide web. Browser takes dot com by default when you hit control plus enter. However, from SEO factors all domain extensions are treated equallt. Having said that some extensions are valued more than others for example dot gov, dot edu, etc.

Every country has their own prefix. If you are planning to register a company the best domain to use should be .com because it is more trusted.
.com domain are better trusted my Google. If you are targeting audience within your country using.com domain get you more audience within your domain

I think Dot com domain are conventional. Every person search a website with dot com. Demand depends upon the mindset and market values. People have mindset on dot com. So it is worthy than any other domain. No matter the other is dot net or dot ws.

Yes they are the best ,dot-com domain is the best because that's what people will concentrate when searching people may not search for dot.net or dot.io,dot-com is the most generally search domain name in the internet world that is why a lot of people will prefer to go for.com because people are familiar with that than any other form, and the second most popular one is Dot.net and that's what some people are going for depending on what they want to use the domain for.

It has a more international appeal unless the website is for a specific organization then you can then be looking at .org. But all these also boils down to preference. Although .com is a more popular suffix so it makes sense to follow the crowd in this instance.

The . com domain is still the best domain for those individuals or institutions with profit motive. Any other mission for a site apart from the profit making don't necessarily have to use .com because it is popular but should rather use . net or any other that might suit it's goal.

For general people, dot com are still the best, for search engines it does not matter whether you use com or xyz. Except for few, for example edu and gov, search engines do not differentiate between extensions. What ultimately matters is the kind of seo done for the website.
