Are there any new search engines worth ranking on? I feel like new search engines spring up every so often, many offering better privacy and support. What are some of the newest search engines, and can we utilize them for SEO means?

Even a new search engine emerge at the moment it will be hard to replace google search, bing, yahoo, hotmails etc. But nothing is impossible on this earth, things change overnight. Let's see of any new search engine can outclass google in the future. Google have been gong strong in the last ten years. No search engine have eclipse it's achievement since its inception.

With the stiff competition in the search engine sector coupled with love most webmasters have for Google and bing, it will be hard for new search engine to break into the search engine market and gets into the heart of webmasters. If you are webmaster or blogger, you just need to follow the rules of search engine available to you like Google and bing and you will be good with your website

At now I think you should not consider using another search engine but you should only consider using the one you are quite familiar with because this is the one you will be able to use conveniently, any other search engine that is coming into existence will be very difficult for you to understand , to me Google is the best and it's more sophisticated and more digitalize.

DuckDuckGo is a popular search engine for those who value their privacy and are put off by the thought of their every query being tracked and logged. It has a very clean interface with minimal ads and infinite scrolling, so the user experience is nice and streamlined.

I think focusin on a single search engine would be better, as you can't really compete on all of them, but if you think you aren't able to compete if one of them, move to another one, a kind of unpopular one, so you get a chance

When you are thinking about ranking, I think you should focus only on ranking on the top 5 search engines because these are the search engines that most of the people will be using. There is no point in ranking on a search engine that is used by 0.001 percent of the earth's population.

I don't think any search engine can compete with Google right now, it has been available for over ten years and consistently. It's what everyone is familiar with. A new one might not even see the light of day.

Why do you want to use another search engines, when google has it all? I don't think you need another search engine, or try lesser used search engine. The primary idea behind using search engine is to find content, google displays the most accurate results. Most of the lesser known search engines use google API to display results.

Although it is not a new search engine but I have been checking on Duckduckgo once in a while and I can say that it is very promising. it is only lately that I have noticed that Duckduckgo also has a web browser although I have no intention of using that because I am comfortable with Chrome and Firefox. But maybe for those who want an alternative to Google then Duckduckgo is better than the other search engines because it is convenient for me. However, I cannot say the same with the search list results. Admittedly Google is still the best in that department.

I have tried using search engines like like duckduckgo and yendex, however the search results are more or less similar to the popular search engines like google, yahoo and bing. I see no point in using other search engines.

I think there is, but they are not common yet unlike google SEO which is hiding all other SEO engines. But they might offer better privacy and sorry than the oldest ones as you have said.

People will judge your intentions, your behaviour, your ability, but don't come down low to there idea. You the best of yourself

I use Google. However, I also use other search engines like Bing, yahoo, duck duck go, yandex etc. to see where the certain content rank on other search engines. When I am doing seo, I take reference from various search engines.

The thing is that when a nee search engine in started. it will take it a very long time before it can even start contesting with big search engines like Google search so I wouldn't advise you to make use of any new search engine for now because the results it will give you would be so small.

There are a lot of search engines, you can even build yours. The thing is, what's the visibility of the search engine. How many visitors do they receive a day. That will help you answer whether to go with them or not.

Apart from Google, Bing, Yahoo etc, I never seen any new search engine sites popping up. It will take time for any new one competing with the existing ones.

No search engine can actually do that, in fact, other search engines still come to google to buy adverts so they can come up in searches and thus increasing the traffic generated to their business or website.

I understand your points, at the moment their is none, but that doesn't mean it will remain like that forever, remember nothing lasts forever. Google time might come and go, but I know Google is always making great changes, they'll be around for many years.
