animations on your homepage good or bad?

one of them I don't like animations, I get tired both mentally and physically. I like something simple and to the point, not filled with all the animations. now it also depends on what site you have :)

When it comes to your page. You should always try to employ ways that would keep customers on the site and also to make a better representation of the site at large

Having animation on one's website shouldn't be too many allover the website otherwise it will get people irritated and causing you to loose prospective clients for your business

When it comes to web design and designing a website, do you want to add any types of animations to spice the site up? I have considered adding animations, but when I do, I always remember my grandma when she used the web. She always had problems when sites were all fancy and had graphics, videos and animations. I think that causes somewhat a disconnect with elderly consumers.

I think that sites should be minimal, but look good. All sites need to do is get a point across and look good doing it. It doesn't need to be a masterpiece to be good.
To some people who are fans of anime, animation is good and everything to them , so they prefer animation on their homepage, but to me i dont see any reason why i should put animation on my homepage.

You will also have to work on the speed of your website and animation on the home page will make your website load slow. I do not recommend animation.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I believe that ones opinion may not be the same with others. I think if you love to put animations on your website, then go ahead. You cannot please everybody. As for me, I love to look at animations. It attracts my attention.

I don’t really think animation is good on homepage but you can still put animations in other places on the site.Let people get the main message you to pass on the site and do not let animation take over everywhere on the site

Animation on one's home page of their website shouldn't be scattered all over the home page so as not to make your webpage look too clumsy

I think animations are good and they will really be attractive to your visitors, but you should be careful not to overdo it, so as not to distract your visitors from certain areas of your site.

When it comes to design and animation it all depends on the website and the type of message the web is trying to pass. If you feel people will relate better to certain colour combinations and animated designs, perhaps you did a research and you find out it works ,then definitely go for it . There is no such thing as too much.

Animation effects are special visual or sound effects added to text or objects on a slide or chart. You can also animate text and other objects using the buttons on the Animation Effects toolbar. Can view the organization chart

The type of site you have will determine this.
You need an explainer video on the home page if your website is service-oriented and you make money by offering services.
People will favor a brief explanation film with attractive animation over your lengthy "about us" page because they lack the time to read it.

Utilizing animation on your website is not and never should be a problem.
Is the animation on your website conveying a message to the audience or are you just drawing attention to it? is the question you should be asking yourself. Why are they used for this purpose. The most important thing is that, even if you utilize it, it should look reasonable.

I think that majority of the professional websites do not have an animation, but it all depends on the kind of animation you use on your website. Some website owners use high-quality animations.

I don't really support the idea of using animations on one's homepage. I kinda feel it's a bit childish and it might bother sit well with the elderly, like your grandma.
