This is the reason why I love cats. They do so much we don't give them enough credit for. I've never seen a rat in my house since I had cats.

I fee sad to kill rats, however, I do not mind killing roaches. Therefore, I would go with roach in the bedroom rather than rat in kitchen. By the way, rats will create more damages than the roaches.

I would rather have a roach in my bed.
A rat would do so much damage and be a lot more difficult to get rid of whereas a roach won't do damage and would be easier to clear.

I've heard about rats eating or bitting someone's fingers or toes. This is very crazy. Some of them can be vectors for viral infection.

I would rather not have any of them. I hate both rats and roaches in my house. I can't stand the two of them because they are disgusting.
