This is very true indeed. There is nothing worse than having a bad night's sleep because of an uncomfortable mattress. If you can afford to splurge on a decent mattress then that is definitely worth it just for the quality of sleep you will get.

I think something else that is definitely worth splurging on especially if you work from home is a decent laptop that can do everything you need. I at the moment would love to be able to upgrade my laptop of 9 years but lack of funds has left me not being able to. If I had the funds though, I would definitely splurge without hesitation on something like that.

Oh 100%! I bought a Simba when I redecorated my bedroom and got a new bed etc... definitely worth the money.

Having a good mattress to sleep on will always be worth it. It is something that I can spend more to buy too.

This is a pretty decent shout.
Having a good pair of shoes, especially if you are on your feet during the day working, can make or break how well you work.

I have to agree with @Shortie a good mattress is worth it! I splurged completely on it with no regrets lol. I splurged also on my custom built PC - I figured less likely to need a upgrade soon. Technology wise I try to splurge a bit and don't just get the base model of things. It appears to generally be better quality in one way or another.
