This is definitely problematic. Its very expensive for somebody to get started without an already established community.

It kind of is.

I got lucky when I got back into it because all I had to do was renew XF licenses which were not that expensive.

But to buy a new one is pretty high!

It's funny because the version of vBulletin I would prefer to use (3.8) is outdated LOL

Version 4 and 5 is what killed my interest in using them.

If it was still 3.8-like and the old vb, I don't think XF would even exist. We'd all still be enjoying vB

It totally sucks in my opinion at least anyways.
