Well when it comes to a situation like this, I think it us best to keep and maintain a strictly professional relationship with the superior, and you have to ensure you do your job or task diligently and effectively.

I don't really care about anything when it comes to how I deal with my employer because don't let them I owe them is to work professionally for them and not create any kind of relationship with them.
