Why will you join or not join the army?

Let us assume that you found yourself in a situation whereby there is a call for you to join the military in order to defend your country; would you be open to accepting that call in playing your role for your country or would you decline that offer of joining the army?

What will be your reason for joining or refusing to join the military in this kind of situation?

I never have had any desire to join an army. When I was growing up, there was a fierce battle between the army and the armed insurgents in our country, and every day people were dying, the army, the insurgents, even the civilians.

I only join army in games platform lol. I never wanted to and will never join army come wat may. I don't like seeing people surfer. Although I know we have medics department, but even with that I still say no.

I have never felt the desire to join the armed forces of my country, if I received an invitation to join, I would undoubtedly decline it, I do not want to die in vain for a problem that will surely arise again decades later, so many wars, and we are still in a deplorable situation.

One problem is people not believing in the cause. In fact, many are just drafted into wars they don't believe in, or they joined up to fight wars they don't believe in for the money. Well, the 2nd is the case often in the US these days I suspect.

I would not join the military forces. I would be a conscientious objector for religious reasons.

I am always scared of the army growing up and even turned down the opportunity to join the army when I was offered the opportunity. However, I have become stronger now and felt I would have joined the army if it were to be this period.
