Exactly my experience. 5years -7years ago, it's was much more easier to make money online.
 
The reason why some online job fail is just because their is not enough money and plans to succeed in the business,most online business as fail because of some people self Interest, people are always after their gain not after the moving forward of the business
 
I feel the numbers are so great because many individuals these days just venture into online businesses without having a deep knowledge of what internet businesses are about.
