I am getting so frustrated!!!
I practice my right foot almost everyday for an hour. My foot is not fast by any means hence the reason why i spend a lot of time on it. What happens is this....
I am just practicing straight up 16th notes just so i can build muscle memory and speed up in my right foot. I started at like 45 bpm a few months ago and worked up to 55 bpm which is in by no means fast. So ill start nice and smooth at 55 bpm and can go on for like a good 4 bars.
Then my foot will start spazzing out if i go for any longer and I don't even feel fatigued!!! So then ill stop, start again and ill be lucky if i can get 2 bars in without the stupid foot spasms. The thing is my muscles aren't burning by any means. Why does this happen??
It makes me so discouraged because I've been stuck at this tempo for the past 3 weeks and cant even go longer then 4 bars. Please help a discouraged drummer lol
