Why Do Some Employees Do Not Get Promoted?

That's true. It's better to start your business rather than working for someone who doesn't appreciate your efforts and wasting your time and efforts.

There are some employers that will never be interested in appreciating you publicly no matter the effort to contribute to their work because they don't always want to find himself in a position where they will have to pay you more because they know you are working harder.

Yeah, some other people who weren't able to start up their own business got way better job, where their efforts were appreciated and with a better pay than their previous job.
Yeah, if you work in a place where you are very much appreciated and they pay you reasonable amount of money you may not have any reason to start your own business. But some people still do so.

A lot of people who are successful in business is today is in that level because they were rejected in the workplace. Instead of working with people that does not appreciate you it is better you start your own business.
I agree with you. If you are putting in so much effort and no one ever appreciates you in the workplace, it may be time to quit. You may use all that expertise and skill to run your own business successfully.

Sometimes an employee's failure to promote has nothing to do with them. The employee can be unaware of activities taking place behind the scenes at the company, such as financial difficulties or downsizing.

Getting promoted at the workplace is a quite common thing for many people. However, I have noticed that there are many people who never get promoted and they keep working in a company at the same job position. Why does this happen?
It can happen for many reasons. Perhaps the employer doesn't have skills, is lazy, doesn't have new ideas, or simply doesn't want promotion. It can happen for many reasons. Maybe the company doesn't have money, or for similar reasons.
