Which is worse: grand or petty corruption?

Well to me, corruption is always corruption either big or small and they both have punishment depending on the decision of the security agencies on such matters.

The penalty for the grand corruption would be very severe while the punishment for a pety corruption will be very high because of the gravity of the offence committed.

You have made a very good point there. The punishment for each of the crime or offences will be vary because the gravity of the offences are different from each other.

Though the levels of corruption has different punishment for each of the crime but in my own opinion , corruption will always be corruption and the same punishments should be given to people who are corrupt

The grand corruption is worse and obviously not the best one at all. With grand corruption, the economy of the country affects could crumble. The corrupt politicians fall in this category.

Here in my country the biggest form of corruption go Scot free or just payment of fine , but if you are into small and petty corruption , there's every possibility that you will goto jail for it
