🛍️ Business Sales Which is More Profitable Blogging or Vlogging

I have been blogging on a self hosted websites for over a decade and I am still struggling with generating good income from my blog. But I see a lot of people publishing videos on youtube and other video platforms and generating more money than me. So, based on my observation, I feel that vlogging is more lucrative than blogging. But sadly after blogging for many years I cannot simply quit blogging and go into vlogging just because it is more profitable. What do you think is more profitable, a blog or a vlog?

Either or, really.

They're both first-page friendly. Search for any keyword and you'll always get blog posts and video results in the SERPs.

But they both require the same thing to be successful - hard work.

If the written or video content isn't of the highest quality and provides the most value or bang for the buck, it won't do well. Look at the blogs and videos of the top competitors in your niche. Dissect what makes them so good.

If you can't match that quality and provide their value, in your own words, while also adding a unique twist, then you'll just be a needle in the haystack with the rest of the blogs or video creators trying to complete.

Working hard will result in either of them winning.

Doing both opens you up to multiple streams of income which is what you should be going for anyways.
