Which email service do you use?

I hate to access my Gmail through the website version. It's too clunchy and boring because you would have to keep refreshing the page to get updates unlike how automated it is with the app.
Yeah, I rarely use the website version and primarily the app. It's so easy to get the notification of a new email and check it right away.

Currently I am using the Google mail, I just like everything about it, it has good features, I enjoy using it anytime I want to access anything on Google.

It's only Gmail that I have been using since I knew what email is about. I have heard about other mailing services but I'm not interested in using them.

I always used to use Hotmail for the longest time up until Gmail was released. Once Gmail was released I moved there and I never turned back. I now have one personal email, one business email, and an email for other things now with Gmail and I wouldn't change it. I find Gmail to be really convenient.

Fastmail.

I'm perfectly happy to pay - and I do pay - for my email, because running servers isn't free, and I'm not sure what Google's plan is. See https://www.theregister.com/2022/12/26/opinion_column_alexa/ for more thoughts on the situation, but Google cannot be making a profit on the majority of its email.

Though the other thing is, because I own my own domain, I can migrate the email somewhere else in the future if I want without worrying about which provider handles it so if I want to move to GMail I could do that (though fairly sure I'd need to pay for the privilege now if I wanted to do that), or I could use MS Outlook/Live/Hotmail but I actually want to receive email and I know from brutal experience how much of a pain that is.

For personal email.. the commercial option from Google... it uses my customized domain.
For "trash" email... I have several from Hotmail/Outlook.
For my "bounced/unsubscribe" for my site... I use a grandfathered ZoHo account that allows POP/IMAP logins.

So, Zoho have the option to set-up any email account? I never knew and think I should give it a try as I use their messaging option.

If you have a grandfathered account, you can access via IMAP/POP3 free. For new subscribers, it is a paid option now. For the free level, it's simply web based access. I don't know if the free one allows customized domains or not now.
I have had an account with ZoHo for years and never used it except for a few months.
I have Amazon SES sending my transactional emails for my site (it uses a subdomain). I use ZoHo for the primary domain (sending/receiving) and since it was at one time a paid account that then transferred into a grandfathered "free" level I was able to continue using IMAP/POP3 access via a client, which is basically all XF needs.
If you don't mind paying for their current subscription level, custom domains are easily done there.

As gmail is kind of interlocked with websites now a days it just makes sense to use gmail. I like it enough and it is easy to navigate on the phone and computer. I use Outlook for my work email as that is the email they have provided. I don't like the updates that have been made to outlook though because it annoys me. Maybe it's just because it is for work is why it annoys me though lol.
