Where do I begin on deciding?

I am new as mentioned in my intro thread. I recently bought my first domain but I am not sure what I want to do with it. I would like to start it as a hobby but would also love to earn on it. I was thinking either a forum or a blog. No sure. Where did you start when you bought your first domain?

Just roll with it. Being a webmaster takes experience, and you have to learn some of the ropes yourself. Make a website, and keep working at it. If you keep going, you'll get it going pretty well after a little while.

Do you have hosting with that domain? That would be the first step after obtaining a domain name. From there you can do a forum, blog or even both. It's all up to you.
