Have you ever had your community (or maybe your method of dealing with things) targeted by a member? For example, when you have a member who just cannot help posting with intent to cause trouble and so you, obviously, deal with the issue. Said member then goes to their own site and posts thread after thread making claims and accusations against your community. How do you deal with this?

If you're anything like me - you leave them to it. Their life is obviously so sad and pointless that they have no other way to entertain themselves and it's blatantly clear that they're either jealous, crazy, pathetic, attention seeking or all of those options. I actually find it quite amusing watching as they scurry around looking for idiotic rubbish to post and spout.

I would say you have a calm approach to life. Most people won't stay this calm towards this kind of behaviour from any member. It's not a must to use any particular forum and when you're not okay with how a forum owner manages his community, you're welcome to leave and not start crying river.

Oh it's also experience though. I have freaked out before, making things worse. So the number one rule is to stay calm. ;)

I think it depends on how they are acting. If it's something they are concerned with and want to air their grievances, there's not much you can do unless they are spreading misinformation about you. But I think if it's a thing where the user comes to your site, makes trouble, and then goes to theirs to complain, maybe if they continue to do it, and continue to gossip each time, maybe just ban the guy at some point.

Sometimes if a user doesn't want to be there, but clearly comes around to cause a stir, they are only then intending to cause trouble so safe yourself some trouble and consider banning them if they keep it up.

Calm and inner peace like Master Oogway in Kung-fu Panda, I'm sure you've watched the animation. Being calm is a turbulent situations does you more good than harm. You will say a lot things you wouldn't when you're clam and collected.

This has not happened to my communities. I operate small communities and I do not think anyone has any particular reasons to go against me or my community. However, I have seen this happen multiple times in multiple communities. The best way to deal with situations like this is just to ignore it.

Well for me, it depends on the angle the said user is targeting and attacking me and my community. If the user is posting anything that's going to be incriminating towards my person and my community, I won't keep quiet. I will contact the forum owner where he makes such posts and give him every details and my side of the situation, then ask him to take down the post when he's done with his verification seeing I didn't do anything wrong to the user. He should probably warn the user to refrain from making such post.
