What's the most painful bug bite/sting you've had?

What's your experience with bugs bites like or stings like? What the most painful bug bite or sting you have experienced in your life? Did you require medical attention when you got bit or stung?

The most painful bite I ever had was in 2018 I believe, I received a bite when I went to hang some washing out to try and at first, I thought it was only a normal bug bite, but over the days it got worse, became painful and infected.

I ended up getting medical attention from my doctor who prescribed me antibiotics and still to this day I do not know what bit me to cause that.
