What should you never accept if it's free?

Just figured I could start a little discussion on what you should never accept if it's free.

Personally I would not accept any unknown tech gears. For example a dropped USB, Wifi dongle, or anything else that can "store" or both can process information and store.

That is because either I fear...

1. malware, virus, or even ransomware could be loaded
2. Or such can even track if they were in an "evil" enough hands

But if it manufacturer sealed and/or from a trusted source then I wouldn't worry about it. :smiley:

Another thing I would stay away "for free" unless your friend is doing it as a business or something is free storage and/or hosting. You never know if they are selling your information to said the government, spammers, and/or even advertisers.
