What other domain extensions are there?

There are a lot of domain extentions out there, from the usual ones like; .com, .net, .to or something like that. But how many domain extensions are there? Could you use just about any kind of characters as long as it's a .blank? Like for example. asite.sdfsdf or something dumb like that.

How many domain extensions are there? Could you make your own?

Do you know there are domain extensions like dot pizza, dot accountant, dot ceo? Last time I checked there were over 2 thousand different domain extensions. There is an international body that overlooks all domains and approves new domain extensions. I think you can try creating your own extension of you meet their requirements.

When I’m doing go with .com however their are so many extensions, cctld , .gtld. .ngtld definitely to many to list.
