One of the characteristics of an entrepreneur is being a risk taker. This involves trying out new things and never letting the fear of failure to prevent you from doing any kind of business. A good entrepreneur also makes a plan and start as soon as possible to impliment the plan, he/she does not wait for the "right time" or for competition to reduce.

I think that the most important characteristic is to be a good sale person and to be able to sell your idea and you product well.
