What is your experience with Adsense?

I haven't tried using adsense because I don't have a blog or a youtube channel, but I do intend to start by setting up both.
I cannot judge how effective or ineffective adsense is until I use it myself.

The truth is that I don't know what Google adsense is a lot of people on this forum at talking about it but I don't really know what is used for,Can someone please explain.
