What is the next version of phpBB?

IPB has recently released version 4, Woltlab has released version 4.1 a few months ago, MyBB is working on future versions...

What about phpBB? What are the plans for the next phpBB version?

They released phpBB 3.1 a little while back. That's their newest release, and it's okay. They have things like notifications and such, but the MODs aren't there at all yet.
