There are many people who may have had heard about the better business bureau. It is one of the most powerful business certification and regulatory authority that has been working for a long time. So, what is the main purpose of better business bureau?

The main purpose of the BBB as I know it, is that it's meant to be a tool to see what businesses are rated, if there are any customer disputes, and so on. The BBB to my knowledge only works with the US and US businesses.

If you have an issue with a US business, you can report them on their BBB page in the hopes your issue with them gets resolved. Like let's say you bought an item from a site and it never came, and they never issued a refund. So you file a report on the BBB and it leaves a bad review on the BBB site where the business can respond and hopefully resolve your issue with them.

It's a great tool to utilize if you're unsure about a business. You can check if the business has good or bad reviews.
