What humor do you think is most popular online?

I have thought on this for sometime and every time I come to my conclusion, it seems to be animals but more specifically, CATS. It seems like cat themed humor is one of the most widely enjoyed humor themes online be it on Youtube or Twitter, Facebook or general forums and comic sites.

I definitely have to agree with this. Even in real life, meme humor seems to be extremely popular.

I would probably have to agree with memes. They are all over the place and are usually the first thing in place when something major happens. You can't log in to a social media site without seeing at least one of them.

Meme and reaction gifs seem to be the most popular as far as I can see. Specially on social networking.

Reddit is full of it. And so is 4chan and I don't advocate using either website because it's gotten to the point where it's become saturated with them.

4Chan is beyond that though... They are like Reddit minus any guidelines. I went on there once and seen nothing but violence and porn. lol

I would say meme as well. On the subject of 4Chan and Reddit, are they every going to redesign those sites? They are so ugly and they look like 1998 internet sites. They have some interesting content, but they are a disaster to navigate.
