SEO is something that most of us cannot wrap our heads around. It's incredibly complex. Something like changing forum software could make a huge difference. In your opinion what forum software is best for SEO?

I don't think any one has a particular better SEO capability. Many would say Xenforo but having used it, I noticed that while my site did appear faster in the search engines vs IPB, overall as far as depth goes IPB wasn't much different as far as how much, how high and what specifically was linked/ranked.

In the end, its the content really...not the script that matters.

Its all about the content in my opinion. Without solid content, your forum really cannot compete against other forums in the realm of SEO.

we all going to say different things here, some used all software others used three. I would say IPB since it has Search Engine Org.. Built into it's system for meta tags and whatnot.

I agree. It seems that everyone has there own preference.
