My favourite vegetables to have in a salad would be cucumber and shreds of carrot.

I like onions, beetroots and red cabbages in my salad. When ever I make salad or order salad in the restaurant I make sure that my salad has a lot of onions, beetroots and red cabbages.

When it comes to having a salad and adding vegetables, I tend to opt for carrots, cucumbers and sometimes cabbage too.

I guess you could also count pickled onions as well which I tend to have on the side when I have a salad.
