What are the main objective of pension scheme

Have been asking this question no one seems to have the right answer to the question whats the main objective of pension scheme why are people paid pension are they really Worth the pension or the government is just dashing them money

Simply because they have spent their whole life to serve the nation and government departments and now at the late stage of life, when they are unable to work more, they deserve to be served for their hard work in past

Pension are paid to workers who has retired from active service so as to be able to take care of themselves In their retirement state as they won't be working at that time.
The pension money is usually deducted from such worker's salary during their working years, government are not actually dashing people money

Life is in stages, at a point in your life you have the strength to work, but after some time you don't have the strength again, that is retirement age, at this point you will be paid pension,to sustain you .

Pension pay is always given out to pensioners for many reasons. Many people don't always complete their dreams before going on retirement and that money usually helps them to still complete something while in retirement.
