There are different ways for him to monetize Just like a lot of people have suggested in the comment, I think the best way is through affiliate marketing and also running ads on the site. Those are the best ways.

You work hard to put your skills into practice, to write great content. You may have a small following, or an even larger follow-up, but you're not spending that much on blogging to maintain a regular travel lifestyle.

In fact, many travel bloggers leave at the end of their journey, or after a year or two of blogging from home, unless their blog is making money. If it is making as much money as the collaborators below, then freedom of travel will not end.

To monetize a travel website.you have to sit and look at the strategies to be used in running running affiliate marketing and advertising the site on other sites and social. You can even use promo to attract traffic.

Aside from having an ad network in the site like Adsense you can offer the site for "free" ads to hotels, resorts and tourist spots. You can even connect to the local government of a tourist town where the mayor may sponsor your site in exchange for the advertisement of their town. By the way the "free" ads means free on the first publication that will last for a week. After that you can offer a renewal but with a fee this time.

I think adsense is the best ad network for your travel network. I hear that travel niche ads have better rates. You can also use amazon native ads and earn commission by referring travel gear.
