What always calms you down when you're really stressed out and upset?

My home is my comfort place. When I'm stressed out, the moment I can get myself home to be with my family and pets of two dogs, I feel so much at ease. It's like where my soul anchors to find peace.

What always calms you down when you're really stressed out and upset?

They are two different things with my being stressed out and upset. It's not the same thing that can fix them for me. For being upset, I'll lean into music. It helps me a lot. For being stressed out, I'll have to remove myself from the equation of what's giving me the stress.
 
I am someone who does not deal with stress or even being overly upset so I need to have ways to be able to help with calming down.

I find sitting away from everyone say in my bedroom and listening to music using my headphones or earbuds or even shutting off in a video game helps calm me down when I feel stressed or upset.
 
If I don't take care of whatever that's causing me stress, there's no way I would get ahead of the stress. I'll find out what's the problem and tackle it immediately.
 
Either video games, or really heavy music, lol. I know heavy metal is looked at as rage inducing but it calms me down.
 
When it comes to being stressed or upset, I'll either talk to someone about it or sit and game with some music on to calm myself down.
 
Drinking does it for me when I'm stressed out. When I take at least two bottles of beer or a bottle of red wine with alcoholic content, I'll feel better.
 
Eating helps me handle such kind of stress. I'm happy that it's not what happens with me all the time. I wouldn't have to worry about over feeding and becoming fat.
 
Watching feel good movies, playing video games, walking in the part, watching fish in my fish tank are some of the things that soothes my nerve. Sleeping also helps me a lot. When I am stressed out, I go to sleep
 
There are a lot of activities that calms me down, for instance playing games, watching movies and TV shows, listening to music and walking in the part. Eating good food also calms my nerves.
