That is true; it depends on the person.

I had a terrible time in high school. All during my time in school, even in high school, I was treated like a complete idiot.
For instance, in the fourth grade, I was grouped with a few other students to learn how to count money since my teacher did not believe I was capable of doing so. 🤣 Of course, I could count money in the fourth grade.
