I have plenty of domains which I have not used. And I have no idea what to do with them. Like I know I should be developing something for them. But as of now there does not seem to be any option for handling those domains. It is just costing me something per year. And something like that can be bad for the money.

So what to do with the old and unused domains? sell or keep for growth?

There are sites out there where you can sell those domains. You just need a good such site ,and advertising to sell it off ,if you don't have plans for some of them

If you currently don't have any plans for your extra domain names and could use some extra cash, perhaps selling them to the right buyer would be a better option. You could also have the domain up for sale via your domain registrar, but you'll probably end up getting less money if you did that than finding the right person.

If you don't want to use your extra domain name and you are sure about it I think you should consider listing them for sale for some extra cash

if you don't plan to do anything with them, why not sell them? not to sit there in vain ... you pay that fee and sell them afterwards. or who wants to buy them, to pay that fee.

try to sell your domains through domain marketplaces like flippa. However, these days there are a lot of choices for domain extension therefore selling a domain name is really difficult. If you cannot find buyer, you can build website and sell domain and website as a combo package.

You can have many choice like
  • You can sell it at decent price
  • You can do domain parking and make money from it.
  • You can do giveaway by running contest on your regular website to promote that website itself.

If you don't have anything to do with them you can just sell them off or better still stop renewing them and allow it to expire. It will be wasting your money If you are not making any thing from it
People register domains for two purposes, one to hold them so that they can sell for higher prices in the future, two to use on a website. A dot com cost around, $8 these days, dot online cost $32, dot io cost $35 (I guess). When you register a domain you are already investing a lot of money. Therefore, simply dropping them off is not a good idea. Think of them as a long-term investment.

If you don't have anything to do with your domain name I can advice you to sell it out in order to make some cash for yourself instead of keeping it useless. Selling it out will be good.

Rent them or sell them, and invest in something worth more. I don t think it is worth it anymore on the long runs to hold the domains.
Better to get a good offer now and invest in other business.

You try sell unuse quality domain through godaddy auction or dynadot auction or on namespro
that wat i do if my domain is about to expires

I have a lot of unused domains. Generally speaking, I will continue to renew my domains untilI have funds. However, when i have shortage of funds, i will simply let them go. This year I let my 3 domains expire. This is of course a loss, however, it can be recovered when I sold other domains or websites.

If you have different domains you are not using, you can list them on different domain market place for sale. You make research about DAN, Epik and Sedo market place for sales of domain. I believe if the domain had good keywords it won't take you more than a month to sell them off.

If you have a domain with good monthly visitors there is an Hosting online company that you can register with and they can plait advert on your spare domains and if anybody click on the advert you earn certain commission but if your domain does not generate traffic then do not bother because for you to make money from them it requires high-quality visitors monthly, the choice is yours

You can try your luck with domain flipping. there are quite a number of people have met on forums that pull good money from it. Find a good service provider with good traffic and reviews then go with it.You have Afternic/ Bodis/ and more. You can park the domain while waiting for sales to pull through. You can also do some personal marketing via mails.

I registered a lot of domains in a hope to sell them later. However, I could not sell any of my domains, therefore, I started building websites. Interestingly, when I was able to sell a website, I started building more websites and sell domains with websites.

If you have so many unused domains as you have alleged, the best course of action for them would be you selling them off to all the people that will definitely use them as they seem to be useless to you right now.

You have a couple of options, park the domain and make money, build websites, or sell your domains. However, with all of these methods it is difficult to make money.

If you have unused domain and you don't know what to do with it I think you can sell them and also to buy so to buy another one.
