XF announced they will be releasing XF 2.4 in the near future with the new TipTap editor, which is the same editor that IPS plans to roll out with v5.

Or if you want to see it in use in an actual forum, go to the Invision Alpha site and play with it on there as they actually have it live for use already.
From what I have seen of it, it looks to be a big improvement over both what Invision and Xenforo used as editors (both different ones).
That you see on the TipTap site will usually not be what you get as available on the forum scripts as they may not want to offer access to certain extensions (this is almost a given with XenForo whereas Invision did allow uploading of add-ons to their editor that were available).
It is one of the things that will get me to upgrade my script when it is finally rolled out in it.

Yes, thanks for the reminder that Invision Alpha already has TipTap editor already out. (I think I've already taken it for granted, ha) Totally forgot!
