Tip 1

*Learn the Art of Communication*

Good communication is important in all types of business, but in real estate, it's imperative. A client doesn't want to work with a realtor who is too busy to take the time to listen to them.
People want to feel as though you're listening to them and their needs.
These people are putting their trust and faith in you and if you're not listening to them, they will become angry. Your goal is to leave all your clients happy so they'll recommend you and continue to use your services when they need you.
People don't buy from a business, they buy from people. People they like and trust. In order to become that person, you must first learn how to listen.

Based on the realtors that I know a good real estate agent has a solid connection in many fields. The connection are people who can give information on the land or property that is for sale and on the other side they are people who can give information on prospective buyers who are looking for a property. It is common here to make a sale by a partnership of 2 agents - 1 is the contact of the seller and the other is the contact of the buyer. They split the commission although sometimes the distribution is not equal depending on the agreement.
