The Ethics of Paid Reviews

Reviews are needed on Fiverr and tutoring sites, stuff like that. They are needed to get more visibility, assuming you don't have another way, like say, an ad or boosted social media post.

Anyway, paid reviews could get strong results, but is it ethical to pay for reviews, and especially ones where you demand a good review?

Paying someone to review your offering is morally lacking in my opinion.
It is one of the reasons that I am still bouncing back and forth over contacting manufacturers of equipment in my niche to provide evaluation samples. There will always be that desire in the back of your mind to give the reviewed item some additional lee way. And that directly comes into play with your original question. If you ARE going to pay for reviews. do you denote that the reviewer has a financial incentive in creating their content?
