Do you ever have team leaders on your forum? I think there useful for promotion forums because you need someone to oversee that particular team and see that everyone is getting their job done and pulling their weight. It could be useful on a general chat forum because the moderation team leader could report things to the administrator/owner.

I think that team leaders are very important because there needs to be someone that can oversee the activities of a team in order to ensure that everything stays on point and accurate.
 
Yes it always good to have team leader who look after all management on behalf of owners and who also have decent knowledge of forum topics so he can support staff and users.

It can be very hard to have knowledge on all of the topics however i think that there are so many different forums that are out there that even the moderators and admin learn from us as well.

I have active members tag and top contributors tag in my forum. I reward the most active members in the forum to show appreciation for their contribution to the site and to show members the credibility of the posts. Members perceive the post from tag members as valid and authentic.

The team leader is someone that has to be willing to help in the forum because this way they will be able to guide the members if it i needed and they will be able to guide the forum to success as well.
 
Yes, having Team Leaders in a forum would make things easier, more efficient, and organize since there are people who oversee a group of members and support them from time to time. This doesn't just apply in online forums, but in real life too!

Leader are very important in everything that we do in life because they are the people that drive the project and they able to make the plans as well in order to try and get the people on track.
 
For now, i don't own a forum.. When i finally own a forum, i would like to have team leaders on the forum. I believe they help to oversee the activities of a team on the forum.

Having a team leader on your forum is one of the smartest decisions a forum owner can make. If you are lucky to get a team leader that is willing to work on improving and carrying the other members of the team along, you will have less work to do as a forum owner.

The key factor for hiring a team leader, for me, should be passion and desire to carry out instructions and goals of the team.

I feel a team leader can take a lot of weight off the admins and also other staff members if they are able to focus on a certain area rather than having to deal with so much.
 
There are team leaders on the forums where I am a staff. However, I do not have team leaders on my own forums. I believe having team leaders on forums that have huge user base and a lot of activities will certainly help trhe forum and the owner.

I think that a team leader could be appointed on any kind of forum. However, I am talking about a scenario which involves some kind of competition being held on the forum. This also involves creating different teams of members and selecting a team leader for the contest.
