Tagging users

Do you tag users a lot in threads?

Do they always appear there and reply when you summon them?

How do you feel when someone ignores your post even if you tagged them in it?

On my forum I have a group-tagging add-on and I use it to send the members a nice message from time to time or get their attention to an annoucement or some important info.

As for being tagged, I get so many alerts sometimes I miss when people tag me, its nothing personal to them if I accidently overlook something. I am only human.

Unless I have something specific to say, I don't tag users on my posts. Usually, when I tag them, they come to the post and interact with the post or even post a reply. I don't like users who tag without a valid reason.
