Studio Ghibli is sometimes described as Japanese Disney (an oversimplification, but an easy way to bring anyone in), with an approach to storytelling that feels more-Western than the average Anime, and yet, has its own unique flavor to it.

• Princess Mononoke
• Grave of the Fireflies
• When Marnie Was There

I love their movies. I haven’t seen them all, but several.

I especially love Spirited Away and Castle in the Sky.
