Staff Task Completion Requirements

Do you give tasks to your staff team? I have seen and been apart of several forums where they had expectations for a week time, but I also have been part of them where there was no set expectations/task completion other than participation.

For example as a community team member you must make x amount of posts per week. A Graphics team may have to complete at least 2 requests a week. Package team must complete x amount of packages...

What are your thoughts on this? What tasks would you give if you were to give tasks for the week?

I don't think I've given much, if any tasks for staff members on my forums to complete. Actively engaging with the community or doing the duties of their staff role should be their primary concern, I think. Then again, I've been flying solo on my board for a long while now, so I don't know if giving tasks out would have more cons or more pros to it.
