Have you ever had staff members that leaked content from the staff lounge? Does that bother you, do you mind this? Do you have a thread in your staff lounge where the expectation that things posted in that area are meant to stay within staff members? Reading this, will you create such a topic to cover that? I have heard some forums sign an agreement of sorts that they won't share the staff lounge with members or other forums.

This used to be quite typical to happen. People would post leaking screenshots and they were never really discovered of who it was.

Well, this has not happened to me as a website owner, and in my capacity as a staff, I have never leaked content of the staff lounge. I think there should be a strict policy against leaking trade secrets, leaking general information should be fine.

It's hard to tell if something is leaked or not from your staff room since the person telling the other person can keep it confidential between themselves. Of course, leaking personal stuff from the staff room is definitely going to be frowned upon. Most things, in general, aren't really meant to be leaked anyway since it's supposed to be confidential between you and your staff members only. No one else needs to know what goes on behind closed doors on your forum, so to speak.

Depending on what info is being leaked. If it is something important, then he is being demoted or banned if the leak is very serious.

If a forum is set out to deliberately do wrong to me then I'll certainly consider it. I'm not saying I would though.
I know where this your response is coming from and it can be understood based on everything which happened.

I will never be the first person to leak the forum's confidential information. If I was betrayed first, my loyalty is out the window.

It doesn't sound good being the leak on a site at all. Of what use or gain will a staff get by doing this? I want to ensure that any issues won't be traced to me and that involves not leaking information to rivals or forums that are competing with the one that I am staff on. I always want to stay loyal to the goal of the forum.
