Spent too much but achieved nothing

I spent around 250$ for hosting, domains and themes but i haven't achieved big or a good mark. Do you think i am stupid that i learnt nothing. But keep worrying that i spent 250$ for webmaster stuffs?
How long have you been into IM? If you're just a beginner, it's only natural to stumble upon a few (or many) obstacles. Remember that IM is like investing in a brick and mortar business. I assume you now have your site up and running. I suggest you start promoting it through SEO and SEM.

I am keeping costs very low, I think my hosting is around £70 a year, then I pay about £15 per domain for 3 years. That's it, I am not paying for any premium services etc as I think I can manage without, but we shall see.

I believe that once you make a mistake like thsi it only teaches you not to make that mistake again. It's always best to spend very little and work on getting a site up there and active and then think about putting money into it afterwards to help improve. At least that way if it does fail you will not be dwelling on how much you spent and wasted.
