So, my forum is getting invaded by spambots... There are about 60 spambots in 1 1/2 days. I installed StopForumSpam and it has stopped 0 of these 60 spambots from registering.

My forum is running IP.Board 3.3.2, and I have no way of stopping these spambots. If there's a way to mass-ban people via Custom Profile Field I will be fine, because they all keep entering the ICQ number 143040 into the Skype option.

What do you mean by "secuirty questions mess up"?
If they're not working, you may try contacting the ipb support for fixing that! :/
No, it's that all the real people that register have issues when I use security questions. They often don't type them correctly and whine to me to let them in without them.

Tough for them, I would rather have no spam bots and a few pissed off people than overrun with spam bots.

The system I use requires members to register on the forum to get more access on my Minecraft gameserver. Therefor, It has to be as simple as possible.

I got StopForumSpam fully working now, and there's no Akismet for IP.Board.

Can't you have custom questions instead of Captcha?
