Simple Machines - SMF

What‘s New always gets me to first unread? No issues there that I can see.
I did change it around to focus on the webmaster aspect first and then below the more general stuff.

I used SMF for quite a number of years but was never a developer or anything like that.

I enjoyed it when I used it. And to be honest, I always try to recommend it first as a free software simply because it seems to have a more active roadmap than the rest of the free ones.

SMF was the last to make a major update to their software. I've not heard of PhpBB or MyBB doing that in a long long time.

Of course, there are still things I don't like about SMF. I'm not a big fan of the overall look and feel of it. But I will say it's original compared to many others.

If I wanted to go to free software again, I'd likely choose SMF over the rest.
