There is a lot of forums that have their own currency and what this is generally used for is thing like upgrades on the forum or perhaps even the ability to cash out from the forum as well through the admin and their payment facilities. However do you think that it can be a good idea to convert your forum currency into a cryptocurrency and try to list it on an exchange? Would that help in forum engagement as well?

If your forum has good users base then you can definitely try to get them in the crypto exchange. There are so many meme coins out there without any real purpose or cause. If your website really helps others, this crypto you launch would be really helpful for your users. You users can exchange it into fiat currency or into other crypto assets if it is listed in a crypto exchange.

there are a lot of dead coins and if you are able to do so and help your users on the forum in terms of what they are earning as well then i think it can be great. However you have to be careful to monitor the coin as well.

I'm sure some forums do that. If they can change it to money, they could probably change it to cryptocurrency if they so desire. Personally I could see many sites doing that, as it's easier probably to handle crypto for posting content than it is for actual money.

It's up to the site owner what he/she wants to do. If money is preferred, they can go that route, but I bet it'd be easy to convert it to some kind of cryptocurrency.

This is something that there is no harm in trying but you definitely have to I have research about the exchange and their requirements. Usual to ensure that a lot of people are willing to trade your currency.

Sure, if actually your forum has the users you can definitely try to use the currency exchange in your forum, and with other coins as many as you want because there is nothing bad in using them.

I think having some sort of exchange with crypto would be fantastic but you need to have a very active forum otherwise you will just end up losing money. I am not sure how to set something like this up but I do have unlockable features on my forum. No use of currency as of now.

The exchange actually has to support that currency first of all before you can be able to list it there for sale. They are usually sometimes and conditions that have to be met before that will happen.

Create a coin on block chain not a big deal, every day so many coins created, you know very well at the end what happens with these coins,
If you have good influence in social media to attract users, and believes those users surely invest in your coin, then definitely create a coin, because a newly launched coin required investors, then that coin survive in market.

That will be good thing, but will it be accepted by many people especially those who are not in the forum. I think a forum currency should remain a forum currency. Listing it in currency exchange may not really worked. It will best work in forum because it's peculiar to people on the forum.

I do not think that there should be anything wrong with using forum currencies. Forum currencies are equal to the amount of real dollars because you earn that currency and it is the total amount of money which you made by putting efforts in the forum.

If you have popular website like this forum than you can setup something like this to helps members to exchange items and buy or sell something to have active marketplace.

Using forum money shouldn't, in my opinion, be considered improper because the currency that is required represents the value of the funds you have accumulated by being active on the forum.

The value of funds is equivalent to the amount of currency you hold and this means that the currency you hold has an actual monetary value, even if it is a forum currency.

for me some forum coins would have been really great for instance biznote, i think the admin should think about putting them on exchanges or make a version that is crypto supported as well.

This is the exact sentiment I share. This assertion then slightly negates the need for the currency to be listed on any cryptocurrency exchange platforms .With that being said, I understand the camp that want forum coins to be listed on exchanges, in the name of convenience

Yes, but there might be some issues with adding a forum currency in an exchange. Online forums are not considered a payment processor like Perfect Money, PayPal, Skrill, Payeer, etc.

This is a good point. It would be unfair and disadvantageous to some people if the forum adopted only cryptocurrency as its primary payment gateway because crypto is restricted and suppressed in some countries.

If you do so it will help you grow your forum, if forum sites add their coins on exchanges they can change to big crypto one day and beside that many people would join the forum too.
