Should you archive most of your blogs content during the end of the year? I've been thinking about archiving a lot of posts on my blogs, and I was thinking after a couple months, I'd archive the first months content, and then each month I will grab a month back and keep going.

Or, should you even remove content and save it elsewhere? Or, do you keep old and new content on site forever?

I think archiving your Content will be the best option, there are hosting plans that can give you as much space to do that.

I suggest that you archive most of your blogs. It's good if you compile your blogs in a monthly basis. It's good that you have been thinking of doing it. I hope that after having it in your mind you would act on it next.

I don't think it's necessary to remove old Post in your blog. To some extent it is very possible that other people that needs the old content will definitely search for it and make use of it in no time

If that will save you from junks file and creating more space for your memory.I think archiving is better. More also you might need it at some point.

It's better you do that on a periodic basis. This would also help you later on if you want to make a reference to a previous work. Or if you lost your data by mistake.

I don't think it's really that important to always archive all content every year. For me I think it's very important to keep the content in the website because more and more people will always search for it and get it

It is way very important to keep an dequate records of all your works, blog materials amd other important documents in a very secure place, and getting them archived is one of the ways.It will help you to fall back to reference whenever you wish to.

It's not a good advice to delete content but it's pretty cool if you could save them in archive. Possibly, you can update them too . Having said that, it's good to have backups so as not to risk losing all your contents. It has happened to me once .

There is no denial that some post actually get outdated after sometime so there is nothing wrong in putting them in the archives so as to bring more exposure to the newer ones.

You can archive your old posts if you have a decent storage in your web hosting plan. I think WordPress and Google blogger does that automatically. It helps because you can make reference to old posts.

For the benefit of the future, I mean do future references its adviseable to archive every blog content even every six month , removing content from a blog post is not adviseable.

It may be needed someday for some referencing. So keeping it will be good especially for those that do not tend to change over time. Removing it is not good at all. At least it's part of your hard work

I think it is best to let the blogs stay on site. Having a complete content can afford the readers to see the old blogs. That usually happens to a new blog reader. When the niche is very interesting he would be digging deeper to see the old blogs. This reminds me of my blogs that are presently inactive.

Some people achieve their contents while some choose to remove it completely for whatever reason. I might go with achieving my contents at the end of ea h year to serve as reference to my blog activities and maybe something I will need that I can only get from the achieve

One of my websites is 5 years old, it has over 200 articles. have I archived my old contents. NO! I do not see the necessity of archiving content provided you have categorized articles according to topics and published dates.

If you really have strong reasons to believe that people are not going to be interested in that type of content again then it will be wise for you to archive it so as to reduce your article list.

Even though I don't have any blog or website at the moment, but personally, I think it is a good idea to have an archive section in a website. And I prefer it being done monthly instead of yearly. This achieved contents will serve as reference when the need arises. You may not leave the old contents forever but just have it and remove them at your discretion. It is just my opinion.

I don't see any reason as to why you would want to archive some of your old contents. But if you must, I think an archive is the best way of keeping them separate.

I get your point but then archiving yearly would be tedious and all that. Although it depends on the activities you get. Getting activities would be preferred monthly
