Should we change planets to be like Earth?

Let's worry about how to *get* to other planets first.

Even getting to Mars, the nearest habitable neighbouring planet, is a 7 month trip for the average distance of 140 million miles (it varies, but that's the average).

The fastest journey so far to Saturn - not even out of our own solar system - is a 3 year trip.

We're currently struggling to figure out actually getting back to the moon which is only a few days away...

When we can actually travel even a fraction of the distance to these places, then we can talk about the ecological value.

Humans have trashed everything they've encountered.

I think we should focus on preserving and improving our own planet instead of thinking of changing other planets to make them like Earth. Earth is our home and we should prioritize taking care of it, rather than attempting to change other planets to accommodate human life. Our lifetime is short, in this short span of time, we should think of practising things that will help Earth last longer for the coming generations.

One day we have have to move to other planets or simply accept being engulfed by our Sun. So if humanity manages not to destroy ourselves in the process, then transforming planets into livable space will become a required skill.
