Should I add a Blog to my forum?

Having a Blog in your forum is an added advantage. But make sure to keep it in a separate section. Your blog shouldn't disturb your forum discussion. And your blog should share your forums theme to make it useful for the members. Posting irrelevant blogs on the website would be annoying to your members. Post blogs that would add value to your forum members. For example, if you run a technical forum, only post technical blogs don't put blogs about traveling and other irrelevant topics.

It completely depends on your aim behind adding your blog to your forum because both are quite different things. Blogs are where you share your knowledge on different topics. On the other hand, a forum is all about discussion/debates to engage with your subscribers as well as to build a social community. So, I would recommend keeping your forum and blog separately.

You should definitely consider including a blog to your forum.
If your forum has a lot of traffic, you can use it to promote your blog and these two can be interchangeable any time
I have no actual idea about the program to use.
You should try to make sure that visitors can move effortlessly between your blog and forum, and from forum to blog.

I am in favor of a forum having a blog! AdminForum.xyz uses Bob's article management system and it has, hands down, the best features for adding a WordPress-like blog to your forum!

My main reason for saying a blog is a good idea is that writing blog posts can help generate traffic from Google. If you write SEO-friendly content that ranks for specific keywords related to your forum's niche that could help drive traffic to your forum for free!
