Should government give priority to building business or creating jobs.

This are two crucial things. Building of houses at a token for even their workers so that after retiring, they have a place to fall back to. Creating of jobs should be taken seriously so that the jobless would see certain jobs as not their kind of job. Jobless coupled with the desire to spend and fill their belly has made the jobless go into dangerous assignments

What government should do is to ensure there is a thriving environment conduicive for investors to run businesses successfully by providing infrastructural facilities that would reduce cost of production, industrial friendly laws so that individuals that are not opportune to work in the public sector can succeed in start up .

both government creating jobs and building businesses are things the government should involve in because there is no amount of jobs the government is willing to create that will be sufficient for people, they should also prioritize building business so that both can work hand in hand for best outcome

The number of unemployed graduates are on the rise in most underdeveloped and developing countries. In your opinion should government give grants to citizens to build businesses or they create jobs for them?.
Yes government have to take action to do some important tasks or jobs to do help in taking job for unemployers .In this way they can help them as well as full fill their duty

You can not really trust the government in this area especially in my country. They will give you with their right hand and demand for you life with their left hand. The good jobs around are for their kids and future grandchildren while they invest in your business and later convert it to theirs. That's how they work.

Of course. The so called wayward or lazy youths (not all though) are what they are because of lack of jobs or funds to start a business of their own. If the government begins to prioritise providing employment opportunities for people, the rate of poverty will reduce and the economy can grow

The government should create jobs. For example, In Nigeria, there're so many sectors not been harnessed.
The manufacturing sector is one of them. If government can create factories where they can produce commodities like- toothpaste, toothpick, gas cylinders, stove, matches and so on, unemployment will greatly reduce.

Every government is because of people of that country . It is government' job to fulfill needs of people so government should give priority for this purpose. Yes there are plenty of graduated are unemployed . So govt should facilitate these people or citizen to get chance of creating jobs and build houses .

Government spending is also an important part of the economy. Millions of people work for the government and millions more are employed in government-funded work and all those dollars flowing into the economy create even more jobs.

Both have the same importants in theri own ways. To give job to the youngster is very necessary to make a development country. But I like to go for own business because it is more profitable then a job.

I'll say create jobs, starting a business is not easy, you need to undergo a lot of training before you can have a successful business. Statistics show that about 60% of Smes fail within 5 years of operation. So I'll advice job creation where fresh graduates can gain working experience and from there launch theirs

I would go with the idea of jobs being established instead of providing grants/funds to building businesses. Because several people are not likely to make or achieve anything productive with the funds.

They should give priority to job creation as this will increase the standard of living of the citizen and boost the economy of the country, creating job will also reduce crime rate in the society
Do you not feel that the creation of businesses will inevitably result in the creation of jobs as well? If you look at any business that is created there are going to be employees that will need to be operating the front of the business or that will need to be involved in the daily running of the business. In this case you are also building your economy through the business, but you are also creating jobs as well. Essential it is like the two bird with one stone situation.

Governments should give employment opportunities to citizens because there are many graduates outside there looking for jobs and providing job opportunities to citizens will produce good standard of living.

I think the government should focus more on empowering young people with the necessary skills, funds and machineries to start up their own business.... In the long run these businesses will grow and serve as a source of employment for other people in the country

This is called capitalism. A situation where individuals are given chance to create and manage businesses without or minimal government intervention. It is a way of rejuvenile a weak economy but the only problem with it is that it is fraught with exploitation.

The truth is that no government can ever provide jobs for all the unemployed citizens of the country but the wise ones know how to have the needs met. This is where the government of many developing nations are missing it, they're engaging in capital development order than human development. The government of the developed nations know that if they increase capacity building of their citizens by helping them to built successful businesses, these ones will in turn be the employers of labour. Why do we have a lower percentage of the unemployed in the United States than the African countries? Take a look at different organizations built by the citizens who employed thousands if not millions of citizens.

I guess they should focus on both two the jobs and building business , because for me these two are very much related to each other. When there are lot of business that was built then there are also incoming more job offerings in the future . In that case then there will be a smooth employment rate.

How can one create jobs without building business? When business is launched, it creates jobs for people. Therefore, I believe government must create businesses and the businesses create jobs for people.
